What’s in a Name
Established in July 2004, in the county of Los Angeles, Paramount Escrow Services, Inc. is licensed by the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI). Paramount Escrow Services, Inc. came under the new ownership of Martha Jimenez in 2007. Martha explains that when the paperwork was initiated with the DFPI, the company's name was the prominent question. However, Martha was not willing to do so for two reasons.
- The company was already established.
- The definition of the word Paramount, which means superior.
Martha believes that she made a smart decision by keeping the same company name, and diligently worked to uphold my company's name.

We relocated to Orange County in 2009, which was a big decision but succeeded in establishing our name among the few well-known escrow services companies. What We Do
An Escrow Company is a third neutral party that handles the paperwork and documentation for a transaction. Escrow Officers work with the Realtor, Lender, Buyer, Seller, and occasionally the TC. They ensure that all deadlines are met, including paying all authorized bills and fees, disbursing funds accordingly, and providing the closing statement.
